the apple of discord ~ Tomas Karkalas
The picture looks outwardly drastic, the apple of discord, yet I am dreaming about the divine love and the image talks in unison with me. So we see the striking contrast between visual story and the mastery of listening. So the artworks are the transformational. Your interpretation will make the last brush stroke.
It‘s hard to name the reality properly: the jobcentre sees me as uneducated, despite the study of the Scripture have taught me everything I needed to know. God‘s Word teaches endurance in the flow of the current misunderstandings.

Fantasy bubbles are exploding; our handmade arts look like the meteoric attractions. They produce the pictorial splashes, yet who would care for the tatters? That’s why lots of pictures are rolling in the mud of the forgetfulness. The heart is crying for the survival and thus leads all those who have the ears to God’s Word. God dries our teardrop and gives the peace in Jesus Christ.
Humility / Tomas Karkalas / Klaipeda, Lithuania
God’s being the same today as He was yesterday enables us to trust in His Word. What can be and must be increased is our own understanding of the Scriptures. As we will grow in a study, our questions about God’s knowledge will be changed to the gratitude to God for the healing us from our misunderstandings.
digital painting Mature Squeakers by Tomas Karkalas from Klaipeda, Lithuania
This is a picture, the artwork – the digital painting ‘Mature squeaker’ is my response to no comments. That’s an overview of the modern world.
The squeaker…the pets are growing old and showcase the transformation of the beloved pup to the barking dog.
The Squeakers leave our towns and inhabit the diaries – pure love leaves our homes.
Where did lead such reports?
The life urged me to vet my dustbin. So I am searching for the heart here now.

photo painting - butterfly in the plaster – Tomas Karkalas from Klaipeda, Lithuania
While wandering around the forest, the question “Are you lost?“ would sound like a hand of support to get out. But the same inquiry would rise up only the irritation, if it would address us in the comfort of out home.
Our state of being lost in a physical world always cries for the help and demands the answer to „what should we do?“ , but in the spiritual realm the things look otherwise – the world prefers poetry to the direct reference word – points to the quotes of the wise but not the heart of the hearer.
Value your words. Each one may be the last — Stanislaw Jerzy Lec
photo painting HUMBUG FELLOW by Tomas Karkalas from Klaipeda, Lithuania
The picture put a question what is this? So the viewer looked at the title. The humbug. Thus the wonder did not stop, but continued to inquiry why??? Why is it the humbug? That‘s why I like the fine arts. The „What is this?“ always blossoms out with the „Why?“ at art showrooms.
The passersby would envy such consciousness outside the exhibition if not its follower the silence that terrifies with the question-marks.
The close-up always works like magic – changes everything to the abstraction that captivates with its symbolism. Some call that the fine arts, yet what do we need indeed? The confession of the faith in plain writing, or the mystery of the “jabber‘s beauty?”
The last always hides us from ourselves. The lie always loses its power in the logic of the title.
