Has a disable the right to dream?

The wish to share the artworks with you looks nicely but it is impossible to do that without your support. The Loneliness and  meaningless are inseparable between.

nursing serendipity

nursing serendipity ~ 60x80cm ~ Tomas Karkalas
While hearing one is sick, we think about the nursing, but the mentally ill patients can only dream about such understanding and the compassion for their hardships. Thus I can’t rejoice over the consciousness of my town.
On the other hand, either being the mentally ill is something that deserves the applause out of itself? Not, of course. Then why did I feel some irritation? Either I worry just for myself (I am exactly such patient), or think about you as my brothers and sisters?
I think the picture on above perfectly share these  emotions. If…when we succeed in transcending our prejudices, we insensibly enter the realm of the spiritual wonderland…
Now, let me share some of visual thoughts, let me invite you to Modus Vivendi.

2013 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2013 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. This blog was viewed about 140,000 times in 2013. If it were an exhibit at the Louvre Museum, it would take about 6 days for that many people to see it.

gratitude knows no past

shadows define the light and my gratitude knows no past.
Unfortunately, the modern art galleries orient to profit. That is horrible. While growing I saw the beauty and morality as the highest goals of the fine arts‘ message. I could not then and I can not visualize the history of the creativity as a fight for the cash now too.

The unfair situation tested my belief and so I have found my heart in the hospital for people with the psychiatric disorders. Art therapy looks like the Last Mohican on the current sunset…

Garden of possibilities

world through painter's eyes

this digital painting may be defined as an abstract art but I prefer it as  an outlook towards the world, the transformational art by  Tomas Karkalas who use his paintbrush as the tool for the meditation. Original size of the picture is 60×80 cm  It would be  good if your comments would take more place than the picture – joke.

my artworks were recognized as worthy of the viewing by my grandson Simonas. Look the photo.  I was proud of taking the photo of my most respectable estimator.

best wishes didn’t lost its meaning

stocktaking of 2008

I looked at the archives of my blog (see the picture above)  and reminded all my other artworks and the blogs I have ( DAYFLY is one of them) Thus the memory made me the speechless . What was written a year ago looked like coming out of me now.  My wonder doubled as I reminded a saying “nothing happens by chance”.  Thus I have read the text below the picture…   The artwork was the same as here  yet the picture looked differently there despite the same message. This metamorphosis once again proved to me that changes depict just outward appearance of things we encounter, meanwhile the spiritual light is the rock-like, it remains the same for ever.
